‘Di sosta’
means rest stop
Every 20 miles or so there will be ice cold water
& other refreshing drinks, delicious nibbles to keep you on course
& clean bathrooms.
Each ‘Di sosta’ is strategically located to share with the rider a few of our favorite spots in Mendocino County.
The ‘Di sosta’ are set up and run by individual local children’s organization.
This year, we’re having a friendly competition to see who can provide the best beverages, snacks & atmosphere along the way.
At the end of the ride, ‘granfondo’ riders have an opportunity to vote for their favorite stop along the way.
All the participating children’s organizations are awarded cash prizes.
